Jenna Holcomb

Music Division Instructor

Jenna began her piano training at age 7 with the Academy of Fine Arts in Wichita Falls, TX. While living in Wichita Falls she played in her weekly church services. She was a member of the national piano guild. She enjoys teaching piano and strives to encourage the love of music in each of her students. As well as teaching piano, Jenna teaches dance. She began her dance training in classical ballet at age 4 with Boehm Ballet Academy. At age 12 she joined the Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre. During her time at Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre she danced roles such as Clara and Snow Queen from ‘The Nutcracker, Aurora’s wedding pas de deux from ‘Sleeping Beauty’, and a soloist from ‘Chopiniana’. Later she trained with Wichita Falls Youth Ballet, and then moved on to Texas Ballet Theater. She has also trained with Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, and Kansas City Ballet School on scholarship. She competed in the Youth America Grand Prix in 2017 and placed in the top 24 of the senior women's category. She joined Ballet North Texas as a trainee for the 2019-2020 season. She is now dancing with Ballet North Texas as an apprentice to the company for the 2020-2021 season
