Dance Division Instructor
NANCY PISTILLI began dancing at age 3. Her mother enrolled her in dance class because she was clumsy!
She studied tap, ballet, and jazz with Texie Waterman in Dallas until she graduated from high school. Nancy went to East Texas State University (now Texas A&M at Commerce) to continue her dance and theater education. Upon her return to Dallas, she taught for Ms. Waterman until she closed her studio. She has taught for Texie Waterman School of Dance, High Society, Stepping Out Dance, Stars of Tomorrow, Creation Station, London School of Dance, XD2 Dance, and is now happy to be affiliated with North Texas Conservatory.
Nancy stays busy teaching, choreographing, and directing at theaters in the DFW area. Pistilli has taught and choreographed for
Plano Repertory Theater, Garland Civic Theater, Mesquite Civic Theater, Pocket Sandwich Theater, Irving Arts Center, Rover Dramawerks, Richardson Theater Center, Rockwell Community Theater, and also Garland Summer Musicals. Nancy also worked for two summers at Long Lake Camp for the Arts in upstate New York.
She teaches all ages and levels, but enjoys working with little ones the best. Nancy hopes to instill a lifelong love of dance and music in her students, and is proud to be a part of their growing up years.
